Can You Make Hop Hop Hop AI for Free?
Last updated:

This is the long answer about money. The free page tells you what you can do right now; this guide explains what a video actually costs, where credits can come from without a purchase, and which limits apply.
What free means on this site
Free covers everything before the render: watching the reference clip, reading the guides, browsing examples, comparing prices and creating an account with Google. There is no signup fee and no card is stored when you register.
A rendered video is not free. One credit pays for one second, new accounts start at zero credits, and there is no trial render, no free preview and no free download. That is the whole policy — there is no hidden free tier to unlock.
Where credits can come from without buying
Referrals are the one ongoing way to earn credits: a successful invite currently pays 10 credits after the invited person’s first payment clears. Anti-abuse caps apply per IP and per month, and the current reward is shown in your account.
We also issue redeem codes for promotions or support cases from time to time, and if a render fails its credits are returned to your balance automatically. Refunded credits are not a free trial, but they do mean a technical failure does not cost you anything.
What one video costs
The price is linear: one credit per second. Dividing the smallest pack by its credits gives the least favourable per-second price; larger packs and subscriptions lower it.
| Length | Credits | Cost in the smallest pack |
|---|---|---|
| 6 seconds | 6 | $5.97 |
| 12 seconds | 12 | $11.94 |
| 18 seconds | 18 | $17.91 |
The limits of the free options
Earned credits are still normal credits. They do not bypass any product limit, and it is worth knowing those before you plan a project:
| Limit | What it means |
|---|---|
| Two photos, two people | No group shots, no pets, no third person |
| One template | The three-hop routine is the only motion available |
| No bundled sound | The MP4 is silent; audio is added when you post |
| Sign-in required | Uploads and renders need a Google account |
| Credits are consumed on success | A failed render is refunded; a successful one you dislike is not refunded automatically |
How to spend less
Render the 6-second hook first. It costs 6 credits instead of 18, and for most posts the three hops plus the cut are the whole joke.
Read the photo checklist before uploading: a sharp, evenly lit chest-up shot is the cheapest insurance against paying for a second take. Avoid re-rendering just to change the framing, because every successful render spends credits.
Compare the pack price with a plan before a busy month: a subscription works out cheaper per credit, but its allowance expires at the end of each period, while pack credits never expire.
Refunds and failed renders
If a render fails, the credits are returned automatically and you can start again. If you change your mind about a purchase, an unused credit pack or subscription can be refunded within 14 days; approved refunds go back through the payment provider and usually take 5–10 business days.
For a completed clip with a genuine quality problem, contact support with the job details. We review the clip and add credits where appropriate rather than leaving you to pay for a broken result.
Free vs paid at a glance
If you only want to see what the trend looks like, stay on the free side of the line. If you want a clip of yourself, the shortest render is the cheapest way to find out whether the template is for you.

FAQ
Can I get a free video through a referral?
A successful referral currently pays 10 credits, which covers a 6-second render with credits left over. It is a reward for an invite whose first payment clears, not an automatic signup bonus.
Do promo codes exist?
We issue redeem codes for promotions or support cases occasionally. There is no public code list, and a code only works while the promotion is active.
Will a failed render cost me credits?
No. Failed renders are refunded automatically. Successful renders consume credits even if you decide you do not like the result.
